Partner with DCIS Understood

Together, we can help women make informed choices about DCIS.

DCIS Understood is proud to launch its Partnership Program—inviting companies, healthcare institutions, foundations and other organizations that share our commitment to empower women diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS) through education, informed care, and compassionate support.

Every day, more than 150 women in the U.S. are diagnosed with DCIS. As a non-invasive breast condition that often prompts invasive treatment—and with a lack of precise tools to predict which cases are likely to progress—DCIS remains one of the most confusing and widely misunderstood diagnoses in women’s health. The result: unnecessary anxiety, overtreatment, and missed opportunities for personalized care.

At DCIS Understood, we provide clear, research-based guidance to help women talk confidently with their doctors, understand their options, and make individualized decisions about their care. Since our launch in 2024, a growing number of patients, doctors, and advocates have joined our mission to bring clarity, compassion, and choice to every DCIS diagnosis.
